The crime comedy “Lone Wolves” starring Brad Pitt and George Clooney will be released on September 20. It is their first joint project in 16 years; the actors previously starred together in the Coen brothers’ dark comedy Burn After Reading (2008). The Hollywood stars also starred together in Steven Soderbergh’s Ocean’s Eleven and its sequels, as well as a cameo in the sitcom Friends. When a murder occurs in a hotel room, things quickly spiral out of control. The corpse that needs to be removed suddenly comes to life and tries to escape with a bag containing a large amount of illegal substances. After weighing the risks, the lone wolf couple are forced to work together to get the job done.

The film, which will premiere at the 81st Venice Film Festival on September 19, will be released in foreign cinemas the following day. The film was produced by Sony Pictures and Apple. Pitt and Clooney also co-produced the film. Online streaming

Director Jon Watts directs Lone Wolves from his own original screenplay. Prior to this, he helmed blockbusters based on comic books such as “Spider-Man: No Way Home” and others.
