You’ve probably heard more than once that there were conflicts on the set of Sex and the City. It was rumored that Kim Cattrall, who played the deadly Samantha Jones, even refused to participate in the third part of the movie due to constant disagreements with Sarah Jessica Parker.

However, Kim recently stated that she decided not to appear in the franchise’s third spin-off, as she realized the story was outdated. “It is great wisdom to know when enough is enough. I didn’t want to jeopardize what the show was to me. The way forward seemed clear,” the actress said.
But Sarah Jessica Parker has her own version. According to the star, the producers turned it down because they didn’t meet Kim Cattrall’s requirements. “In the studio, when we were going to shoot the third movie, he wanted some things they couldn’t do – they were uncomfortable meeting where he wanted to meet. “We didn’t do it because we didn’t want to do it without Kim, and the studio wasn’t going to make any concessions.”

Sarah said Kim “contributed greatly” to the success of the Sex and the City TV series and movies. However, the producers decided not to invite her to “And just like that”, as Cattrall made it clear long ago that she wouldn’t be returning to this project.
Sarah also noted once again that she did not argue with anyone on the set. “I have never said abusive words to anyone in my life. There have been no public disputes, arguments, speeches or accusations from or on my behalf. I wouldn’t have done that…”, said the actor.
