Vanya Dmitrienko won the case against the former producer who defrauded his mother of millions of rubles

When Vanya Dmitrienko was 12 years old, his mother signed a contract with producer Artem Zemtsov. As it turned out, their business relationship ended in 2020. But the popularity of the hit “Venus-Jupiter” forced the producer to go for a scam. The guy began to earn money by fraud on behalf of the rising star.

Zemtsov secretly filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against the singer’s mother (party to the contract), stating that he was her producer until 2023. The trial lasted about two years without the participation of Vanya and his family. The producer did not inform the former ward about his claims. But Dmitrienko did not even suspect that something like this could happen. The court of first instance accepted Artyom’s application due to the defendant’s lack of objection.

Dmitrienko learned about Zemtsov’s actions when his mother’s accounts were blocked. As a result, the artist successfully appealed the decision to the Moscow City Court. Lawyer Alexander Nikitin helped him in this.

According to the lawyer, the first instance court restored all the missed procedural deadlines and the appeal reconsidered the case. All of Zemtsov’s requests were rejected. The lawyer is now preparing a counterclaim to compensate for the expenses and damages suffered by Vanya from his former producer.
