10 Movies for August That You Should Definitely Not Worry About Wasting Your Time On

August’s new movies are perfect for both group and solo viewing, but we recommend organizing an outdoor movie screening before the summer is over. In any case, this applies to the movies that will be released on the platform. Blockbusters and action thrillers are best watched on the big screen in a cinema to share emotions with other viewers. In our list, you’ll find noir films as well as melodramas that will bring tears to your eyes.

By the way, we previously wrote about the most anticipated series of August 2024.

“The Raven”, dir. Rupert Sanders

Release date: August 22

A mystical thriller with a dark aesthetic, starring Bill Skarsgård and FKA Twigs. A remake of the cult film “The Crow” (1994), which ended with the tragic death of Brandon Lee. This time, the story is not about revenge, but about the heroes’ love and criminal past. In the story, Eric Draven and his lover die in the hands of bandits, but the spirit of the hero, who was supposed to be taken to the land of the dead by the raven, cannot find peace and returns to life to take revenge.

To complete the mission, Lilith assembles a team of beaten companions who can fight all sorts of fantastical creatures.
