Vanity Fair published the first frames of the new episode of Gladiator. In the images, you can see the main characters of the film played by Paul Mescal and Pedro Pascal.
The film is directed by Ridley Scott, who helmed the first episode. The screenplay is by David Scarpa (“The Last Castle,” “The Day the Earth Stood Still,” “All the Money in the World”).
It is known that the action of “Gladiator 2” will unfold about 15 years after the events described in the first part. According to the plot, the matured Lucius returns to Rome, after which he finds himself in the arena.
The film stars Joseph Quinn, Denzel Washington, Connie Nielsen and others. Gladiator 2 will be released on November 22, 2024.
