NEON has released the ending of its sinister and twisted new horror film Long legsand the movie looks like it will give the audience chills. This is the kind of movie that will make people’s heads spin.
Follow this movie Maika MonroeLee Harker’s character, a talented new FBI agent, is assigned to the unsolved case of a serial killer. Nicholas Cage plays the serial killer and we get another quick look at him in the trailer.
In the story, “As the case takes complex turns, unearthing evidence of the occult, Harker discovers a personal connection to the ruthless killer and must race against time to stop him before he claims the lives of another innocent family.”
Long legs it is said to be “in the vein of classic Hollywood psychological thrillers”, and early reviews have compared it to the classic ’90s thriller The silence of the lambs.
The director of the film, Oz Perkinsthey previously explained why they’re holding back the full reveal of Cage’s character, saying, “He’s leading people into a freak show in a circus tent. We’ve got the thing behind the curtain and when there’s enough people gathered, we’ll pull the curtain”.
Cage added: “It’s the equivalent of putting a warning label on a jar of nitroglycerin. The monster is a highly, highly dangerous substance. How it is moved, revealed, deployed needs to be treated very carefully.
“Forget the explosion of cinema; the whole city could be blown up, indeed the country, perhaps even the world. It will change your reality. Your doors of perception will open and your life will never be the same.”
The film will be released on July 12, 2024 and is said to be the “scariest film of the decade.”
