20th Century Studios has released the first trailer for Send helpthe latest genre-bending psychological thriller from the fan-favorite director Sam Raimi (Spider-Man, Dead Evil).
The film promises a darkly funny and suspenseful journey that pushes its characters, and the audience, to their limits. I love this trailer and the energy that comes from it! It will be an amazing movie!
Send help stars Rachel McAdams, Dylan O’Brien, Edillio Ismail, Dennis Haysbert, Xavier Samuel, Chris Pang, Thaneth WarakulnukrohAND Emma Raimi in a tense survival story filled with Raimi’s signature mix of wit, chaos and twisted humanity.
The story follows Linda Liddle (McAdams) and Bradley Preston (O’Brien), two colleagues who survive a plane crash and end up stranded on a desert island.
“Linda Liddle and Bradley Preston, two colleagues who find themselves stranded on a desert island after being the only survivors of a plane crash.
“On the island, they must overcome grievances from the past and work together to survive, but in the end, it turns into a disturbing and darkly funny battle of wills and wits to make it out alive.”
Raimi teased the emotional and psychological chaos at the heart of the film, saying, “I’ve always loved stories in which interesting, dynamic characters are pushed to extremes. In our story, shifts in power create an escalating situation, full of unexpected turns and suspense.”
Written by Damian Shannon AND Mark Swift (Friday the 13th, Baywatch), the film looks like a fun blend of survival drama and twisted dark comedy. It’s the kind of unpredictable storytelling that Raimi fans enjoy.
The film will also feature original music by Danny Elfman (The Nightmare Before Christmas, Batman), and looks poised to deliver a wicked mix of tension, absurdity and survivalist madness, all filtered through Raimi’s signature style.
Send help will be released in cinemas nationwide on January 30, 2026.
