The Zamoskvoretsky District Court of Moscow placed Anton Lozin, general director of Regional Kitchen, under house arrest for 1 month and 28 days, that is, until August 15 this year, in the case of mass poisoning with mavio salad. This was reported by the Telegram channel of the press service of the capital’s courts.

Yesterday, the head of the service quality department Elena Mashkova and the commercial director of the Savon-K company Vladimir Shin took the same preventive measure. Karim Normatov, the cook who prepared the lobby, was sent to the pre-trial detention center.
Let us remind you that more than 120 people have been hospitalized with botulism symptoms in Moscow since June 14, and 55 of them are in serious condition. Rospotrebnadzor attributed the cause of poisoning to salads from Local Kitchen LLC (Kitchens in the District) and Gastroport LLC. The victims were eating a limono salad with canned beans from one of the Neighborhood Kitchen suppliers.
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case on the provision of services that do not meet security requirements (Article 238 of the Criminal Code). Accordingly, the defendants will face a prison sentence of up to two years.
Cases of botulism were also recorded in Nizhny Novgorod and Kazan. Regional branches of the Investigative Committee also opened criminal cases under the same article.
