Do you want a small cake that won’t weigh you down? It’s time to try the apple and coconut cake.

Cakes are great, but cakes that stick to the bottom of your stomach are less so. The compromise? A light recipe, without (or little) fat, with a perfect taste.

The recipe for apple and coconut cake

To make this recipe you will need:

  • 125 g of flour
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 50g grated coconut
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 apples
  • 150 g of white cheese (with or without fat, your choice)
  • 1 sachet of yeast


Start by preheating the oven to 210°C. Peel your apples and cut them into cubes. In a salad bowl mix the flour and white cheese, then add the eggs one a year. Finally add the yeast.

When everything is well mixed, add the chopped apples and the grated coconut. Put everything in a buttered mold and you're done, in the oven for 30 minutes!
