Summer has just begun, which means we have a whole wedding season ahead of us. We are sure that you have received many valuable invitations from girlfriends, friends and acquaintances, whose celebrations you definitely do not want to go to. And as expected, we have already talked about the main wedding trends and what a bridesmaid should never wear.

Today the fashion department of The Fashion Vibes will show several pictures on which the hero of the occasion should definitely not focus.

Yes, we are talking about the most ridiculous wedding dresses of stars that have entered history forever. Despite their cost, months of manual labor and dozens of meters of the finest fabrics, they still ranked worst dressed, with no chance of rehabilitation. Here are the top five celebrity wedding fails:

Celine Dion

In 1994, singer Celine Dion married her manager Rene Angélil. An impressive celebration took place at the Notre Dame Basilica in Montreal and was even broadcast on television. The image of the bride fully corresponded to the level of the event. Celine Dion chose a lush silk dress with lace inserts, a six-meter train and a bodice embroidered with rhinestones. Designers spent nearly 1000 hours to create this masterpiece. So what is failure? The entire look was ruined by the accented headpiece, which went down as one of the most ridiculous in the history of wedding fashion. The huge crown with 2,000 Swarovski crystals weighing more than three kilograms distracted all attention and made the image unpleasant.

Emma Thompson

In 1989, the wedding of British actress Emma Thompson and director Kenneth Branagh took place. The bride tried to create the official image herself. And that’s remarkable (no, that’s not a compliment). The actress opted for a multi-colored above-the-knee dress with a pink bodice and full skirt. She completed her wedding outfit with a veil and a snow-white feathered hat. The resulting ensemble looked as quaint as can be, more akin to a carnival look than a wedding.

Pamela Anderson

What did you expect from Baywatch? A puffy Vera Wang dress? No. Pamela Anderson married musician Kid Rock in a snow-white bikini, a light dress and a captain’s hat. Nonsense? It partially but completely reflected Pamela Anderson’s image. Even though the marriage only lasted a few months, the “beach” wedding was definitely worth it.

Princess Diana

Despite the fact that Lady Di rightfully holds the title of style icon, her wedding look is considered a failure by many. For those who have forgotten, Princess Diana married Prince Charles in a fluffy dress with puffy sleeves and an impressive veil. The whole look looked a little outdated and did not emphasize the beauty of the 20-year-old girl at all. Meanwhile, the drawings of the dress were locked in a safe so that no one could leak the main plot to the press. It’s funny, but it’s ultimately ruined. On Day X, Diana sprayed him with perfume, so he had to cover the stain with a bouquet throughout the wedding.

Tina Turner

In 2013, legendary 1980s singer Tina Turner married music producer Erwin Bach. They got married in their own villa in Switzerland. By the way, the dress code of the celebration was unusual: Tina asked all guests to wear snow-white dresses, but she herself chose a black and green Armani suit decorated with Swarovski crystals. It is worth adding here that the image sounds much better than it looks. The dress fell just below the knees and was complemented by black tights made of sheer mesh with rhinestones. And this detail completely ruined the already controversial outfit.
