If you are looking for a light and healthy dessert, you can skip it this time. But if you want to devour a cake that will make you want to eat three more slices because it’s so good, you’re in the right place.
The chocolate flan recipe
To make this recipe you will need:
- Shortcrust pastry (homemade or industrial)
- 0.5 liters of whole milk
- 3 eggs
- 100 g of sugar
- 100 g of dark chocolate
- 20 g of corn starch
- A sachet of vanilla sugar (or a spoonful of liquid vanilla)
In a saucepan, start by bringing the milk to the boil, then add the chocolate cut into pieces. Mix well and let rest. In a salad bowl, beat the sugar and eggs (and vanilla sugar) until frothy. Gradually add the cornstarch and then the chocolate milk. Return the entire mixture to the stove over medium heat and stir until the mixture thickens, without burning everything.
Roll out your shortcrust pastry in a round mold, and add your preparation. Hop, it goes into the oven for 50 minutes, at 180 degrees.
