Numbers alarming. The fast fashion site SHEIN continues to stand out for the harmfulness of its products. While a few days ago we learned that the company emits more CO2 than Paraguay, on Wednesday 22 May the consumer protection association Test purchases published the results of a survey that analyzed 25 children’s items purchased on the fast fashion site.

Products up to 100 times more harmful than those allowed in the EU

Harmful substances were found ten of them, or almost every second article. They are present on waterproof jackets, t-shirts, swimsuits, but above all shoes. The worst tested contains five times more lead compared to the standard authorized by the European Union.
