Many actors dream of bringing legendary singer and actor Frank Sinatra to life on the big screen, but no one has had any luck yet. Kevin Spacey was also rejected.
Tina Sinatra, the daughter of the legendary artist, is so careful about her father’s memory that getting permission to shoot films is a difficult task. The other day, he turned down director Paul Schrader, who was planning to cast Kevin Spacey in the lead role. The actor was previously accused of sexual harassment and film companies stopped collaborating with him.
“We had a great script, but Tina didn’t like it. Moreover, we couldn’t get his permission to use the music and we couldn’t do it without him. I think Kevin would be good in this role,” Schrader told the Daily Mail.
Now the only contender for the Frank Sinatra role is Leonardo DiCaprio. Martin Scorsese wants to make a film about the pop singer with his participation. Tina Sinatra has not yet ruled out this option.
