  • The Monstera

Not everyone has the gift of making their interior green in the blink of an eye and brilliantly maintaining lush vegetation. Fortunately, there are beginner plants that are extremely easy to care for. Follow the leader.

If like me you don’t have a green thumb, but you like greenery and can’t design an apartment without vegetation, here is a selection of famous plants “indestructible” which require little maintenance, spotted on Tik Tok via the account @lesfleurs_de_charlotte.

Zamioculcas, my favorite

This beautiful plant is ultra hardy and doesn’t require much watering. Once a week in summer and once every 15 days or even three weeks in winter, depending on the internal temperature of the house. Make sure the soil dries out between each watering.

Mother-in-law’s tongue, for her whimsical name

Here is a plant that lives alone, according to @lesfleurs_de_charlotte. Also called Sansevieria, this succulent plant thrives in dry soil. In winter, one watering per month is more than enough. Too much water will cause its roots to rot.

Pothos, for its full and warm appearance

A great classic of indoor plants, pothos requires watering from above, once every 15 days. To be placed in a bookcase for a great style effect.

Aloe vera, for its virtues

Decorative plant with soothing properties, highly appreciated in the world of cosmetics. Aloe Vera can easily be forgotten in a corner, because it only needs to be watered once every three weeks.

The Monstera, for its presence

It is the classic indoor plant par excellence, which reproduces at high speed as long as it is cradled by light. Water once a week, allowing the surface soil to dry completely between each watering. In winter, a little water once or twice a month is sufficient.
