The devil is in the details: how to make your look more interesting with shoes?

Each of us has a comfort zone that not everyone is ready to leave. This applies not only to food and social environment, but also to clothing. How many times have you been looking at something unusual and thought you wouldn’t wear it, even though there are plenty of pictures in the gallery of how you want to look and dress? Often we choose the familiar not because we are not ready to choose, but because of the banal fear that we will look “strange” or feel strange. But it seems to us that this type of thinking needs to be left in the past and stop limiting yourself in choosing clothes.

And not to be unfounded, using the example of ECCO and Natasha Ramsay-Levi’s new limited sale, we will share a few working life tips on how you can use shoes to transform everyday looks into looks of street style heroes. But first, let’s tell you a little about the new collection.

For ECCO and Natasha, this is the second limited drop, which all fashionistas in Moscow are chasing without excessive modesty. NRL continues the aesthetic of its debut collection, combining ECCO’s inherent technology and comfort with Natasha’s unique, almost futuristic perspective on the familiar. Let us tell you a secret that our fashion department has already added many models to the wish list.

We decided not to scare you right away, but to gradually introduce you to the era of fashion. The first and most win-win life hack would be an experiment with colors. That’s why we’re focusing on brightness this season and opting for blue, rich red and pink bubble gum. You can stay in a neutral palette as the main color and combine sandals or clogs made of genuine leather with, for example, a miniskirt or trousers. The bravest can opt for a completely monochrome look or create an ’80s-inspired color-blocked look.

There’s a theory floating around TikTok for months: If you can’t make an image interesting with color, it’s time to look at texture. So who are we to argue? For this technique, you can turn to layers and pieces made of “tactile” or airy materials, and when choosing shoes, choose ballerinas from ECCO and the Natasha Ramsay-Levi collection. The model reflects outdoor style and is made of combined materials and smooth leather from ECCO’s own workshops.

Yes, yes, we’re already feeling some resistance, but let’s agree on one thing: sandals have long since crossed the shoe line for kids and those kids’ dads. Now designers create stylish models with which you can go to work or sit on the veranda of a restaurant in Patriki. Therefore, we put aside prejudices and boldly wear such models with maxi skirts. Moreover, the ECCO collaboration models feature a huge, solid base and inflated straps. What more do you want from stylish and functional shoes?

We dedicate this blog to everyone who, like the editor of this text, lives in sneakers, regardless of the season. And not because I’m constantly on the run, but because I provide convenience. And although many stylists flatly refuse to combine dresses and skirts with sneakers, we believe that this can and even should be done. We recommend you take a closer look at the BIOM C-TRAIL NRL model. They don’t look like your typical sneakers with a mesh upper with cutouts and laces around the ankles, and they’ll suit both formal and casual looks.
