The French would spend well on their pets, especially their cats, as shown by a study carried out Roverthe world’s leading pet-sitting network, Thursday 4 April.
And for good reason, feline-related expenses amount to several hundred euros per year: 657 euros for Russian blues, 628 euros for the Maine Coon and 625 euros for rag dolls. Furthermore, the three most expensive breeds are the Siberian, which costs on average 65 euros per month, the British Shorthair, which costs 64 euros per month, and the Russian Blue, which costs around 59 euros per month.

But that is not all. The survey also analyzed the impact of inflation on the daily lives of pets. And more than one in three French people (i.e. 34%) reduction of personal expenses in 2023 to ensure you provide your pet with good living conditions.
