Ahsoka Tano joined the Star Tour adventures at Disneyland, Walt Disney World and Disneyland Paris, and my wife and went to Disneyland over the weekend to try it out!
The new addition to the ride features Ahsoka Tano taking you on an adventure as you must help her escape enemy fire. It is inspired by the events of the recent Ahsoka series in which the knights find themselves racing through the clouds among a majestic pod of purrgil, or enormous space whales.
Ahsoka was added to the ride on April 5th and I was riding her the next day. It ended up being a lot of fun, mostly because of the kids on the ride going crazy over the appearance of Ahsoka and the ship flying and maneuvering around the purrgil.
There are a couple of other additions coming to Star Tours this spring, including adventures with Cassian Andor by Andorand Din Djarin and Grogu from The Mandalorian.
They “will be added to the urgent broadcasts that can accommodate travelers during their journey. And thanks to StarWars.com we can share some promotional images.
The announcement reads: “With these additions, you will now have the opportunity to experience one of more than 250 story variations aboard the attraction, including a visit to the planet Seatos from the Ahsoka series.”
The Star Tours update, “the first since Kef Bir was added to celebrate the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalkerwill debut during Season of the Force at Disneyland Resort starting April 5.
