According to the information obtained, Utkin complained to the doctors yesterday about severe shortness of breath due to his weight being over 240 kilos. Doctors diagnosed pulmonary embolism at the scene and injected the journalist with an anticoagulant. But this did not help. He was hospitalized in serious condition and was put on a ventilator.
“The situation was further exacerbated by hypertension, morbid obesity, and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation,” Mash writes. At 17:05, Utkin had his first heart attack, after which they began to resuscitate him and managed to pump him out. However, half an hour later, his heart stopped again and doctors declared death at 18.01.
