The fashion marathon, which lasted about a month, officially ends this week. During this time we managed to watch more than a hundred shows, go on a digital journey through the main capitals of fashion and cope with the difficult task of telling about the most important things without missing anything. Now it’s time to analyze the catwalk looks and determine the trends of the next autumn-winter season.
Of course, I don’t want to think about the cold season again, but fashion obliges me. Moreover, many products can be easily adapted to summer wardrobes. For example, in new collections designers still rely on transparent fabrics and do not forget about floral prints.
But we saw all of these in last year’s collections. So what innovations did the designers offer us this time? We have compiled for you the main trends of the Autumn-Winter 2024 Fashion Weeks that you need to know.

Chloe Fall 2024 -
Ferragamo Fall 2024 -
Del Core Fall 2024
At the end of February, we wrote that capes were one of the main wedding trends. However, they have now gone beyond this “genre” and started to be included in the main collections of brands. Our favorites are the models seen on the catwalks of Ferragamo, Del Core, Issey Miyake and Chloe. Meanwhile, the latest brand’s newly appointed creative director, Chemena Kamali, relied on this particular clothing line and presented more than a dozen options on the catwalk.

Bevza Fall 2024 -
Courrèges Autumn 2024
Imagine that you are very cold and you are trying to protect your face from the wind with the collar of your sweater or your coat. Dead? Congratulations, you are now on trend. This is exactly how designers recommend that we wear warm clothes in the coming autumn and winter months.
Fur
-
Simone Rocha Fall 2024 -
Tom Ford Fall 2024 -
Burberry Fall 2024
Fur is the most controversial trend of recent years. Despite all the attacks of animal rights activists, some brands continue to work with natural materials and display fur coats in various formats on the catwalks. However, other fashion houses have switched completely to faux fur, and it is now almost impossible to distinguish it from the real thing. So, in the autumn-winter collections, we see fur even in translucent dresses and coats.

Bally Fall 2024 -
Bevza Fall 2024 -
Christian Dior Fall 2024
Last year, the fashion community was obsessed with wide belts with accent buckles and metallic details, but this season, slim options have come to the fore. Fashion house stylists mostly use them to emphasize the waist. Yes, we are returning to feminine silhouettes and finally saying goodbye to oversize.
hoods
-
Acne Studios Fall 2024 -
Ahluwalia Fall 2024 -
Balmain Fall 2024
You can’t go anywhere without a hoodie next fall. Designers are increasingly creating products with this detail, and stylists are offering innovative options for how to wear them. For example, behind one ear, as at last year’s Saint Laurent show. And this month we saw this headpiece on the catwalks of Acne Studios, Ahluwalia, Balmain and many other brands.

Etro Fall 2024 -
Schiaparelli Fall 2024 -
Chanel Fall 2024
If last year maxi-length coats with masculine shoulders and accented lapels dominated, next fall they will be replaced by more practical shorter options. We saw trendy outerwear models at the fashion shows of Etro, Miu Miu, Schiaparelli, Chanel and Max Mara.

-
Erdem Fall 2024 -
Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2024 -
Christian Cowan Fall 2024
Fashion is cyclical. And no one dares to discuss this fact. If two years ago we watched the crazy nostalgia of the 2000s and last season closely followed the return of 90s minimalism, next autumn we will be faced with the return of 60s style. The brands’ collections include A-line skirts, double-breasted coats and recognizable updos.

Helmut Lang Fall 2024 -
Burberry Fall 2024 -
Loewe Fall 2024
Thank you to Daniel Lee and the entire Burberry design team for the return of plaid to the fashion arena. But it’s not just the Italian fashion house that uses the classic pattern in its collections and (as they say) makes it great again. We also saw the trendy plaid on the catwalks of Loewe, Helmut Lang, Chloe, Acne Studios, Rabbane and other brands.
