Raw cake ingredients

To make your raw cake you will need:

  • 15 pitted dates
  • 4-5 tablespoons peanut butter (which you can replace with almond, cashew or hazelnut butter if you prefer)
  • 120 g of dark chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 2 rice cakes
  • 1 pinch of salt

The recipe for raw cakes step by step

  • Pitt the dates and spread them on a sheet of baking paper.
  • On top, add peanut butter (or whatever you like). Don’t be shy, the layer shouldn’t be too thin! The key word: creaminess!
  • Once you have sprinkled the dates with peanut butter, melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a salad bowl in the microwave or in a bain-marie.
  • Once melted, crumble the two rice cakes and add them to the chocolate/coconut oil mixture.
  • Sprinkle your crunchy, chocolatey mixture over the dates and peanut butter.
  • Add a pinch of salt.
  • Place everything in the freezer or refrigerator for 1 hour, until it hardens. Cut and enjoy!
