From February 26 to March 5, 2024, Paris Fashion Week is held where designers present their women’s ready-to-wear collection for autumn-winter 2024-2025. On this occasion, an international creative crowd will therefore gather in Paris. And the Swedish furniture giant took the opportunity to present its new artistic and cultural programming, called IKEA+. On the programme: beautiful family photos whose personality shines through the furnishings, good live music, lots of style and design, and even cuisine…
Event photo exhibition by Annie Leibovitz for IKEA+
From February 29 to March 3, IKEA+ will occupy 28 rue de Lappe, in Paris, to present its exhibition in collaboration with the great photographer Annie Leibovitz. She is the first to become an artist in residence with the gialloblù brand. She was inspired by a study on home life conducted annually by IKEA, which found that 48% of people believe their home life is not represented in the media. Against this, the photographer took 25 family portraits in their homes, in Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States. These videos that some Parisians may have already encountered in the subway will then be displayed in the ephemeral IKEA+ address which will also host other events.

DJ sets will punctuate the IKEA+ pop-up during Paris Fashion Week
In addition to this photographic exhibition by Annie Leibovitz, 30 artists will mark the days and evenings of IKEA+, like Andy4000, Anetha, Cyrus Goberville, Djibril Cissé aka Tcheba, Fiona, Kiddy Smile or even Miley Serious. Everything will be broadcast live on the Rinse France web radio (rinse.fm).
