1. “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” – 58 million dollars per episode

The action takes place in the Second Age of Middle-earth, a thousand years before the Fellowship of the Ring, Gandalf, Hobbits and Legolas, which everyone knows well thanks to Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings and Hobbit trilogies. Meanwhile, the first season of the series was shot for 715 million dollars.


2. “The Castle” – $50 million per episode
