A few hours ago, the 66th Grammy Awards 2024 ended (by the way, you can read about the winners here). Looks like things didn’t go well for everyone. According to The Hollywood Reporter, while all the stars were resting after the event, rapper Killer Mike was detained by the police.
The release did not provide details other than that the incident had nothing to do with the award. “The man is currently being questioned. I cannot confirm the identity of a person until he is charged. The investigation is ongoing,” said a police officer. The Hollywood Reporter also writes that this is “nothing” and the rapper could be released today.
By the way, the 48-year-old musician received statuettes for the best rap song and best rap performance for the song “Scientists & Engineers”, as well as for the best rap album Michael.
