Peaky Blinders star Paul Anderson, who plays Arthur Shelby in the series, was fined for possession of a banned substance.
Poul Anderson was allegedly recognized by fans of the series in a bar (at apparently the most inopportune moment) and deliberately got into character to play along with them. “He did everything possible to get into character and please the fans of the show,” the tabloids quote the lawyer as saying. However, the actor pleaded guilty and paid £1,345 (about 150 thousand rubles at the moment).
The first season of Peaky Blinders was released in 2013. The series also stars Cillian Murphy, Annabelle Wallis, Helen McCrory, Joe Cole, Tom Hardy, Adrien Brody and Anya Taylor-Joy.
