The upcoming 51st Saturn Awards will feature a new Legacy Award named after the late Lance Reddick. The first winner will be Keanu Reeves, who starred with the actor in four episodes of John Wick. The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films reported this on its official page.

“This award symbolizes and celebrates not only the artist’s talent but also his character: someone who is a true goodwill ambassador for the industry,” said Academy President Robert Holguin.
“He is not only a Hollywood star, but also a shining example of humility and gratitude. Throughout his incredible career, he has never ignored the years of support from his fans and filmmakers. “We are thrilled to honor Lance as our dear friend and true icon of the genre,” he continued.

Let us remind you that the award was given in memory of actor Lance Reddick, who passed away in March 2023 at the age of 60. The Saturn event, where the awards will be given, will take place on February 5.
