“Charmed” star Shannen Doherty, who has been battling cancer for a long time, recalled filming “Beverly Hills 90210” in a new interview.
Shannen Doherty only appeared in four seasons of the film. She played Brenda Walsh, Brandon’s twin sister. The actor admitted that he was fired because he could not pay enough attention to the shooting process at that time.
“I had a really terrible marriage where things happened that made it very difficult for me to get to work on time. And I know it’s become a huge problem for everyone,” he said in a conversation with colleague Jason Priestley. As Us Weekly noted, he was married to Ashley Hamilton at the time.
He also admitted to feeling some resentment towards the show’s creators. “This was no one’s responsibility but mine. But I definitely want someone to talk to me and look at me and say, “Listen, eventually you’re going to get fired because none of us want to put up with this anymore. I understand that you have problems in your personal life too, but they can’t affect your work, you need to pull yourself together,” he said. The Hollywood actor finally added: “ “I take responsibility, I don’t blame anyone. This is my problem.”
Recall that Shannen Doherty has been married three times. From 1993 to 1994 for Ashley Hamilton, from 2002 to 2003 for Rick Salomon. And last spring it became known that the actor’s third marriage had broken up. The relationship with Kurt Isvarienko lasted more than ten years.
