We admit, we are surprised too. Who hasn’t eaten cutlets with mashed potatoes? It turns out that the protein in any starchy food can cause bloating because it contains conflicting enzymes. Unfortunately, it is also undesirable to combine meat with rice, millet, baked goods and corn.

We often add fruit jam and honey to cottage cheese, so it seems natural to use bananas for the same purposes. After all, both of these products are so nutritious! However, there is a nuance that many people do not know. Cottage cheese has a high insulin index, so a person gets hungry faster. Bananas have a high glycemic index, which means that blood sugar levels rise when consumed. When combined, these foods cause weight gain because insulin converts glucose into fat when you consume excess calories (but insulin itself does not cause obesity). Additionally, when drinking large amounts of milk, insulin levels increase with age. A similar reaction is caused by other sweet fruits – dates, melons, grapes, even dried apricots and prunes. Therefore, it will be much more useful to add berries to cottage cheese – they have a much lower glycemic index and contain more pectia, antioxidants and fiber. Therefore, it is better to eat fruits separately.


Meat and legumes

Both products are of protein origin, so it is undesirable to eat them together. Meat and beans together create undue stress on the body and complicate the digestive process, causing bloating and heartburn. After such a heavy meal, you often feel sleepy, which harms your figure.


Vodka and herring

This combination can be seen quite often. And even vodka and herring rhyme perfectly. Unfortunately! Herring is a very oily fish. It is believed that the oil softens the effects of alcohol, but this is not entirely true. If you eat fish and after a while drink it with alcohol, then nothing bad will happen, but the simultaneous effect of the products will hit the pancreas hard. In addition, the salt in fish retains fluid in the body, and strong alcohol puts more pressure on the kidneys.
