The cult series “Wizards of Waverly Place” will return to television screens with a sequel produced by Disney. Selena Gomez and David Henry will play the roles of Alex and his brother Justin, members of the wizard Russo’s family. Deadline reports this.
According to the publication, an episode of “Wizards of Waverly Place” has already been filmed. According to the story, Justin is deprived of magical powers and witchcraft after a mysterious incident, and then begins to live like an ordinary person. He already has a wife and two sons, but he still needs to return to the past; teaching a young wizard how to use magic.
Recall that the TV series “Wizards of Waverly Place” premiered in 2007 and ended in 2012 after four seasons. A feature film based on the series was released in 2009, and in 2013, “The Magicians Return: Alex vs. Alex” was presented as a special episode. It was participation in this project that brought fame to Selena Gomez.
