Russell Brand’s company made a million dollar profit last financial year

Russell Brand’s production company made a profit of 5 million pounds ($6.35 million) in its most recent financial year, which ended at the end of 2022, nine months before it faced multiple allegations of historic sex-abuse offences.

The times The newspaper reported that Pablo Diablo’s Legitimate Business Firm, which manages Brand’s productions and live events, reported a 20 percent increase in profits in 2022, including 4.8 million pounds ($6.1 million) in cash.

Records showed that Brand, as the company’s sole director, donated 125,000 pounds ($158,700) to the Stay Free Foundation for recovering addicts.

Brand remains the subject of several investigations into allegations of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse. He was the subject of a joint investigation by The times And Sunday Times Newspapers and Channel 4’s broadcasts team and was questioned twice by London’s Metropolitan Police. The BBC is also continuing to investigate five complaints about his past behaviour.

He denied the allegations leveled against him, calling it a conspiracy by the mainstream media. He said: “Amidst this litany of astonishing, rather baroque attacks, there are some very serious allegations which I absolutely refute.”

After a high-profile stand-up performance the night the allegations first surfaced, he canceled the remainder of his tour and offered refunds for previously purchased tickets. Although he continues to publish videos on the platform, his ability to monetize them is limited because YouTube limits monetization, meaning he also continues to benefit financially from publishing content on Rumble and communicating through his own website.
