In another dramatic week for the British royal family, British media reports that WME has held crisis talks with its high-profile clients Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Despite Harry’s victory in Britain’s High Court on Friday – where he was awarded $180,000 in damages after his phone was hacked by Mirror Group Newspapers – the week has been filled with reports that a series of failed projects and brand partnerships have caused the couple to split. Instead, the couple’s $20 million contract with Spotify was cancelled, with director Bill Simmons calling them “fraud” and Markle’s pet documentary project pearl was canceled by Netflix. The Express‘s source added: “The team doesn’t seem to know what to do at the moment.” The consensus now is to try to undo the damage done to the royal family and hope that this connection gets them out of trouble.
