It’s hard for us to believe that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will one day reconcile (or at least stop working things out publicly). New details about their divorce have emerged.

According to the Daily Mail, Jolie borrowed money from Brad to buy the late director Cecil B. DeMille’s $24.5 million mansion in Los Feliz. Among other things, the actor took out a $17 million mortgage (something you wouldn’t do for your dream home). However, it now appears that he is not very happy with this idea: It turns out that the actor must return the debt he owes to the father of his children with interest.
Jolie said Pitt has not paid “meaningful child support.” However, the Hollywood actor did not agree with the actor’s statement. Pitt claims he paid Jolie more than $9 million. The actress’ lawyer defended her: “Brad was asked to help with the costs of a new home for Angelina and her children, but instead he lent money to his ex-wife, collecting interest.”

“Of course Angelina will repay this loan. But the loan is not alimony, and Brad is trying to present it that way. This is wrong and misleading. Angelina asks Brad to pay 50 percent of the children’s expenses. She has had to shoulder most of the responsibilities in the last two years. “Child support is not mandatory in California,” added Samantha Blay Dejean.
Previously, Angelina Jolie talked about the serious illness she faced before her divorce from Brad Pitt. Read the details here.
