Zara brand is in a serious scandal. It’s all because of the latest campaign shoot featuring famous model Kristen McMenamy. We told you what happened.
In the photo, she poses in front of collapsed walls and broken mannequins, some wrapped in white fabric. These pictures reminded internet users of the events taking place in the Gaza Strip.

The brand apologized on its official Instagram page*: “After hearing the comments about Zara’s latest The Jacket campaign, we would like to share the following with our customers. Conceived in July and shot in September, the campaign features a series of images of unfinished sculptures in the artist’s studio and was created for the sole purpose of showcasing handcrafted products in an artistic context. Unfortunately, some customers were offended by the now-deleted images and viewed them as something far from what was intended when they were captured. “Zara is sorry for what happened and we offer our deepest respect to everyone.”

True, these words had no effect on people, but they only made the situation worse: “It’s too late! There is no Zara in our lives anymore”, “Who are you trying to fool with these vague statements?”, “So why are you publishing this now?”, “We are not stupid, it is too late!”.
Let us remember that the conflict between Israel and Palestine has lasted more than 75 years. For example, Gigi and Bella Hadid spoke out in support of Palestine. After the post was published, their families were subjected to anonymous threats. Whose side are the other stars on? Read here.
