The week is drawing to a close, which means it’s time for our regular column featuring the stars’ best and worst images. We know it’s hard to keep track of every look of even the most beloved celebrities in this endless news feed, so we do the work for you and track their every fashion success or utter failure.
Yesterday we compiled a rating of the most successful images of stars. They were particularly gorgeous and memorable this week, which really pleased us and we didn’t notice too many bad ones. But still they were there. The first person to break the hearts of fashion editors was Penelope Cruz. The Spanish actor recently attended the premiere of the movie “Ferrari” directed by Michael Mann in London. She decided to complement her bustier dress with a black bolero in a sequined and questionable print and, for some reason, an umbrella. Let this image remain on the stylist’s conscience, so let’s move on.
Kristen Stewart, who has been a hostage to Chanel and tweeds for several years, also left us with mixed impressions. We can talk endlessly about how this material adds age and doesn’t suit every genre. Next up on our antitopic is Selena Gomez at the Academy Museum Gala 2023. Fans did not like the Valentino dress at all. As soon as netizens called these huge scaly flowers. Boa constrictor, Christmas decorations and just “it’s not clear what” ruined the impression of the image.
Our list of the worst images is completed with Emma Stone in a Louis Vuitton dress at the premiere of the movie “Unfortunate” and singer Alicia Keys in a photo from the 2000s. I remember that a similar Versace dress by Jennifer Lopez at the Grammy ceremony went down in history as one of the cult dresses, but today such a number no longer works.
