The film was released abroad on November 22. They will start showing in Russia on November 30. Ridley Scott’s Napoleon is an epic film about the life of the French emperor. And no matter how great Napoleon is, Ridley shows his other side – “pathetic” and “weak”. And they say Joaquin Phoenix is great in the image of Napoleon. Was there anyone else who doubted him?
Note that the series will also star Vanessa Kirby, Youssef Kerkour, Tahar Rahim, Matthew Neeham, Gavin Spokes, Ludivine Sagnier, Ian McNeice, Paul Rhys, Jonathan Barnwell, Hannah Flynn, John Hollinworth and Edouard Philipponna.
Fun fact: Ridley had a choice in who he cast in the lead role. He was considering between Joaquin and the other actor. Scott still keeps his name a secret.
