Nahee’s record company Mun Hwa confirmed the young singer’s death in an Instagram post, saying, “She left our earth and became a star.”
It is not clear where or how Nahee, who burst onto the South Korean music scene four years ago, died.
The singer will be buried today at a funeral ceremony in the city of Pyeongtaek.
It was previously reported that Nahee died on Wednesday, but her record company only confirmed her death today.
In a moving post, the Mun Hwa label wrote on Instagram: “Singer-songwriter Nahee left our earth and became a star in the sky.

Just three days ago, Nahee shared a photo of herself and her dog playing with toys on Instagram.
As news of her death spread, her fans paid tribute to the star, with many describing her as a “beautiful soul”.
One wrote: “We have lost a young, dear person, but heaven has gained a star that shines without limits.”
Another wrote: “This is crazy. Rest in peace beautiful.” A third said: “We promise we’ll listen to your songs. ‘Nahee, rest in peace.’

Nahee performed for her adoring fans on Oct. 29, with the singer smiling as she sang and played guitar.

In 2020, Nahee signed with music label Mun Hwa as a singer-songwriter and producer.
