This is the heartbreaking moment a mother runs over her five-year-old son as she drives away as he gets into the car.
The incident took place a few days ago in the village of Kopyshche near Minsk, Belarus and CCTV captured the shocking moment.
In the video, the boy is standing next to the rear passenger door of a red Hyundai car, but when he tries to get into the car, his mother drives off, taking the five-year-old with her.
The boy was thrown to the ground and run over by the car’s rear wheel.
When his mother saw him lying on the ground, she ran out of the car but forgot to brake.
The vehicle eventually came to a stop after crashing into the wall of a residence, with the woman’s other child reportedly still in the passenger seat.

The impact causes the child to land on the asphalt and then be run over by the right rear wheel
At the end of the video, female passers-by can be seen rushing to help when the car crashes into the wall of a residential building and comes to a stop.
A passer-by also rushed to the aid of the shocked mother, who picked up her son and ran back to the crashed car.
The boy is believed to have been hospitalized with numerous injuries and is receiving all necessary medical attention.
Local police posted the video on their website to warn parents to be more careful when traveling with children.
Authorities said four citations have been filed against the 36-year-old driver, whose name has not been released.
The mother was accused of causing a traffic accident, leaving the scene of the accident, violating the regulations on the transportation of minor passengers and not having mandatory insurance.
The police have not yet revealed the total sentence the inattentive mother will receive.
