Luis Guzman joins Comedy-Drama Miles Away and launches Grandave International as part of AFM Slate

EXCLUSIVE: Actor Luis Guzman has signed on to star in the film miles awaywhich Grandave International is launching as part of its program at the American Film Market.

Written and directed by Jackie Quinones, the synopsis reads: A dreamer making ends meet as a passenger finds herself on a collision course with reality as she grapples with the hardships of poverty, bad decisions and a mentally ill sister.

Following miles awayGrandave releases thrillers No way out And nap. No way out tells the story of the character Matteo, played by Jeff Adler (Attractive boy.) He is forced to take on a double murder case after the suspect threatens his family. Attorney Brian Nelson begins to clear up the facts and realizes that the case is not what it seems. Purchased at MIFF 37 South Market, nap is a 90-minute drama in which a social outcast befriends an ASMR streamer to cure his insomnia, blurring the lines between friendship and obsession.
