“‘Catching Dust’ clip: First look at thriller with breakthrough ‘The Boys’ creator Erin Moriarty”

EXCLUSIVE: Here’s your first look at the Raindance competition title collect dust, with The small team Wake up Erin Moriarty.

Written and directed by Stuart Gatt, the film follows Geena (Moriarty) as she finally decides to leave her criminal husband Clyde (Courtney) and their isolated hideout in Texas when a New York couple suddenly escapes in search of a reprieve city arrives. Ignoring the risks of her presence, Geena convinces Clyde to let her stay – a decision with dangerous consequences for everyone.

The film also stars Jai Courtney, Dina Shihabi and Ryan Corr. The film was produced by Mark David, Jon Katz, Stuart Gatt and Edward R. Pressman. The cameraman is Aurélien Marra (Two of Us) and the editor is Nicolas Gaster. The picture was first shown at Tribeca. UTA takes care of sales.

collect dust is Gatt’s feature film debut. He is perhaps best known for the short film My beautiful white skinwho worked on and played a leading role in skin lightening in the British Asian diaspora Red notices Ritu Arya. His last short film, The dead seaStarring BAFTA nominee Sope Dirisu and following the plight of Libyan refugees on their perilous journey to Europe.

Moriarty is best known as the female lead in Amazon The small team, whose fourth season has just been filmed. She also stars in the upcoming thriller Really scary, with Jamie Campbell Bower, which Screen Gems will release later this year. Her other notable credits include the Emmy Award-winning and Golden Globe-nominated series Real detectivethe Netflix crime series Jessica Jones, the Oscar-nominated film Captain Fantastic, Blood father alongside Mel Gibson, who made his debut in Cannes competition, and the Sundance classic The boys of summer.
