“Love, Victor” actress Isabella Ferreira works with innovative artists

EXCLUSIVE: Isabella Ferreira, one of the young stars of Hulu’s latest teen drama All the best, Victorsigned a representation deal with Innovative Artists.

Set in the same universe as the popular 20th Century Fox film All the best, Simonbased on the novel Simon versus the agenda of Homo Sapiens by Becky Albertalli, All the best, Victor wrapped up a three-year run on the streamer last summer. Made by All the best, Simon From writers Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, who also served as showrunners, the show follows the journey of Victor, a high school student as he struggles with his sexuality while navigating the ups and downs of love, family and friendships.

Along with Michael Cimino as Victor, as well as Ana Ortiz, James Martinez, Rachel Naomi Hilson and others, Ferreira played the role of Pilar, Victor’s sullen younger sister, in the midst of teenage angst.

The 20-year-old Philadelphia native also recently starred alongside Rowan Blanchard and Auli’i Cravalho. Crushed, the coming-of-age rom-com that marks Sammi Cohen’s directorial debut and was produced by American High for Hulu among others. In the film, which was released last April, a young aspiring artist is forced to join her high school track team and uses it as an opportunity to pursue the girl she has had a longtime crush on. . But she soon falls in love with an unexpected teammate and discovers what true love feels like.

Ferreira also previously appeared in Jenji Kohan’s Emmy-winning series Orange is the new blackand the pandemic-inspired anthology series Social distancing, on which Kohan was an EP, both for Netflix. She will next be seen in the upcoming Spyglass film alongside Kaitlin Olson, Bobby Cannavale, Scott MacArthur, Mason Thames and more IncomingA comedy from filmmakers John and Dave Chernin in which four freshmen must deal with the horrors of youth at their very first high school party.

Ferreira is still managed by the Animal Federation.
