In full promotion of his latest film Marie-Line and her judge with Michel Blanc, Louane once again recounted a dark period in her life: that of the harassment she suffered during her studies.
The artist says he was the target of insults and derision from his peers because of him attention disorder and hyperactivity. At the microphone of FranceInterexplained that the “insults, mockery of everything and more” might appear “super simple” but in reality he had left a deep trauma.
ADHD, a disorder little understood at the time Louane was molested
Speaking about ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), Louane explained that she didn’t get the support she needed at the time when she was diagnosed as a child. She insisted that this disorder was still poorly understood:
«It is a form of exuberance in people’s eyes and leads to ridicule because an excessive child is difficult to manage, especially in class. (…) She was my little sister who defended me. »
As the mother of a daughter born in 2020, Louane wants to raise her daughter’s awareness of empathy towards others. She says :
“One of my greatest prides is that during her first year at school she saw the children crying and she went to visit them saying “but no, it will be so beautiful, let’s go and play” and she took them by the hand”
His new film will be released in theaters, which tells an original story of friendship between an energetic and noisy waitress and a grumpy and depressed judge in cinemas tomorrow.
