This is a young talent that is best counted on: Victor Weinsanto. After studying classical dance, then training in fashion at the Chardon Savard atelier, the now 29-year-old Alsatian cut his teeth at Jean Paul Gaultier, before launching his own house in 2022. From the beginning, his first collection entitled “ Connes-sur-Mer », where he subverts the myth of cagole, attracts the attention of the industry, for his technicality at the service of queer humor. In subsequent collections he draws inspiration sometimes from the folklore of Alsace from which he comes, sometimes from the fantastic look of 19th century courtesans and always from the world of cabaret and drag. At the opening of Paris Fashion Week (September 25 to October 3, 2023), Victor Weinsanto continues to impose his talent from day one, showing off his new spring-summer 2024 collection, which is degentrifying the institution that is the marriage.
The Weinsanto spring-summer 2024 fashion show or the degentrification of marriage

On September 25, 2023, the Weinsanto spring-summer 2024 collection will be presented, called “ Perfect day “. The bride may have been dressed in white, but it was anything but traditional. The corsetry work is deliberately revealed, rather than serving only as hidden underwear. The sheer lingerie serves as the first look gown worn by designer Lady Miss Boo (who often dresses as a drag queen, like Victor Weinsanto), soon followed by Nicky Doll whose crinoline shows off beautifully outside her dress. Also other personalities of the night such as Sam Quealy (singer and performer close to the group La Femme), or the cabaret artists Julie Demont and Miss Allanah Star were part of this booth where different generations and body types shone, something still rare enough to be seen, to be highlighted. In short, long live the degentrified brides of Weinsanto.
