Earning 50 jobs in a year is no mean feat. Yet this is what happens to the first name that will be given to future French women: Alba.
Alba dethrones Emma (and the others)
It’s the first parental decision that will stick in your child’s buttocks, so don’t get it wrong. Yes, choosing a name for someone who will feel comfortable in your uterus is a big decision, and if you don’t want him to get mad at you as a teenager, it’s best to try not to plant.
As every year, The official names (First Editions) publishes its ranking of the trendiest names for next year, based on developments observed by INSEE, to help uninspired parents-to-be. And this year we finally change from the famous winning trio established for centuries, the well-known Louise-Jade-Ambre. In fact, a new name dethrones all the others and rises to first place: Alba. It was also noted that its Parisian variant, Alma, was equally popular.
As for the boys, nothing really new, the podium remains identical to that of the other years: Gabriel, Léo and Raphaël.
