Did you fear her? we too. Taking the means of Ile-de-France will cost (even more) a kidney, since on Tuesday 5 September Valérie Pécresse announced a new increase in the Navigo Pass.
The Navigo Pass will have to go from €85 to €95 in 2024
The Navigo Pass is expected to increase by 10 euros in 2024 going from 85 to 95 euros.
According to the president of the Île-de-France region, this increase is justified by major investments, driven by the numerous works present on various transport lines in Île-de-France: “What I want to say to all users who listen to us is that absurd increases like last year when it was me cornered by the government increase by 10 euros, which will not happen this year. I prefer not to open new linesdo not extend Éole to La Défense, do not open line 11, do not open Saint-Denis Pleyel “he told France Bleu and France 3 Paris.
“I’d rather not open the new lines than absurdly increase my Navigo subscription”

But to avoid putting too much strain on users’ wallets, Pécresse is allegedly negotiating an agreement with the government, so that companies subsidize much of this increase. The amount of the increase paid by users will be decided in December 2023.
From 1 January 2023 the price of the Navigo Pass has increased drastically, from 75 to 84.50 euros. Recall that in 2016 it cost 73 euros per month.
