The 75th Cannes Film Festival opened yesterday and we love this event not only for premieres but also for the opportunity to discuss trendy looks. Spletnik fashion editor Nadia Bechetnikova chose the most memorable outfits of the red carpet.

At the opening of the Cannes Film Festival there were several stars from around the world, but this did not make the photo reports boring – the present guests made up for the lack of the show with their bright outfits. Many chose the fluffiest dresses with voluminous skirts and trains, and again turned the red carpet into the world of Disney princesses.

Against this background, Rossi de Palma stood out – she came to the opening ceremony in a short tuxedo dress and red gloves. This year’s judge, Indian actress Deepika Padukone, took a bet on ethnic fashion and posed for photographers in a gold-embroidered saree. Local stars also came to the Cote d’Azur: Amandine Petit, title deed of Miss France 2021, and Anne Parillot, star of Nikita. And if this year Russian journalists were not allowed to enter Cannes, then Russian designers still managed to get on the runway – British singer Talia Storm chose a dress from Yulia Yanina’s brand Yanina Couture.
