Natalia Maksimova, the heroine of the gossip column, who openly talked about her transgender transition a few years ago, shared a new personal story with subscribers. Yesterday, Maksimova posted a post on Instagram* in which she talks about her struggle for perfect skin and the social pressure she faces because of her acne. The star of secular society admitted that until the age of 16 she had beautiful and clean skin, which could be envied, but then “jinxed”. She compared the condition of her skin at that time with that of the Ukrainian Mariupol, which frankly draws parallels with the fact that the city is now almost destroyed. At the time of publication of Maximova’s followers, such a comparison was not shameful.

For example, a man at a nightclub in Paris once asked directly what the problem was on his face.

Maksimova also noted at the end of her post that she had to make more of an effort to conform to “social norms” in order to be considered a trans person.

Subscribers and many star friends in the comments were supported, for example, by Ekaterina Barnabas. Users thanked Natalia for raising the important issue of self-acceptance. At first, Natalya’s subscribers in the comments did not pay attention to comparison with Mariupol. But after the release of Spletnik, Maksimova’s statement spread throughout the network, including on Telegram channels. For example, in the episode “Antiglyants” Natalia’s statement is interpreted as follows:

Soon, Ukrainian-speaking netizens also drew attention to Maksimova’s post, outraged by such a comparison. They left many comments on the blogger’s personal account, accusing Natalya of impunity, lack of empathy and hype.
