The Federal Tax Service has compiled a new list of bloggers and artists suspected of tax evasion. According to Mash, it includes more than 100 influencers, including Olga Buzova, Ida Galich, Ksenia Borodina and Victoria Bonya.
The Federal Tax Service will check the financial documents and accounts of each artist and blogger. They are suspected of organizing financial schemes whose purpose is the non-payment or underpayment of taxes. According to journalists, they can use the following methods: working with cash without closing documents, not paying 13 percent of income, creating several individual entrepreneurs registered with friends or relatives.
Meanwhile, in early March, criminal proceedings were brought against Lerchek and her husband Artem for particularly large-scale tax evasion and money laundering charges. After counting all the companies, the bloggers were arrested. It soon became known that the Chekalinas paid off their tax debts, paying more than 311 million rubles. They are now prohibited from using cell phones by court order.
Recall that this spring, a criminal case was opened against Elena Blinovskaya for a particularly large-scale tax evasion of more than 918 million rubles (part 2 of Article 198 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and money laundering of more than 43 million rubles from a person (“b”, part 4 of article 174.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). TASS recently reported that the court applied temporary measures to the girl’s bank accounts and collectible gold coins. A few days ago, the house arrest was extended until October 26.
