If anyone thought he’d leave without avenging Bishop’s (Chris Note) murder to avoid a fight with Mason Quinn (Chris Vance), the murderer of Robin McCall (Quinn Latifah), they were wrong.
CBS is on the season 2 finale tonight. EqualizerFor most of the episode, Robin lit a candle at either end, trying to block Quinn’s location and helping her daughter Delilah (Laia Deleon Hayes) solve a porn case after her best friend’s photos were taken.
Still paranoid about her mother’s safety, Delilah eventually meets Robin’s super-secret colleagues Melody (Lisa Lapira) and Harry (Adam Goldberg). Who can better help Harry with a technical problem?
But things get complicated for Robin’s teenage daughter when her friend Vera (Christina Angelica) tries to kill herself to escape the pain, but Delilah arrives just in time. Not only is Vera safe, Harry has managed to remove traces of her photos from the internet. Oh, and Vera’s slick ex-girlfriend who shared the photos was arrested, while her classmates who witnessed it took lots of photos and videos for the “Grammy.”
It was a victory for everyone involved, so of course the tragedy couldn’t be far away. Delilah, Robin, and Aunt V (Lorraine Toussaint) were hit by a fast SUV on their way home from school for the holidays. The accident occurred when Robin told the couple that she was involved in a very dangerous relationship.
As Delilah’s worst fear develops, two men pick Robin from the wreckage and put a hood over her before throwing her in a van.
Robin gets too close to Quinn working on a dirty bomb, and the stakes are high.
The bishop’s murder will remain unsolved for now, and the fate of the world will hang in the balance until next season.
