Olivia Rodrigo scored seven wins at the 2022 Billboard Music Award – Winners List

To update: BBMA honors the best artists of the year on the Billboard charts in 62 categories across all genres of music. The remaining categories will be announced tonight when Sean “Big” Combs hosts broadcasts from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, where he says 20 pm ET / 5 pm PT on NBC and Peacock.

Some highlights:

  • As a first-time finalist, Olivia Rodrigo won seven Billboard Music Awards, the most ever won by any artist of the night. You finished second with six wins.
  • You have won the Best Christian Artist Award for the first time and for the third consecutive year as Best Gospel Artist and Best Gospel Song. This is Ye’s winning Top Gospel album for the second time.
  • Drake reigns as the artist with the most Billboard Music Awards of all time, having won five. He continues to hold the record with 34 wins.
  • The Kid LAROI first became a Billboard Music Award winner, receiving five wins for his song “Stay” with Justin Bieber for Best Streaming Song, Best Collaboration, Top 200 Billboard Global Songs, Top Billboard Global (excl. USA) and the Top 100 Song Categories. With this win, Justin Bieber’s total earnings jump to 26.
  • Doja Cat has won four, including Top R&B Artist and Best R&B Artist for the second consecutive time.
  • Taylor Swift has four wins, a third top country album, a fifth Top Billboard 200 record, a third top country record and a first female top country record. This win will bring her a total of 29 Billboard Music Awards, making her the second most successful artist of all time after Drake.
  • Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny has won two Billboard Music Awards, Best Latin Artist and Best Latin Male Artist, setting a record for most wins in the Best Latin Artist category, three, ahead of Ozuna, Romeo Santos and Shakir.
  • Billboard Music Award winner Kali Uchis earned her first win as Top Latin Female Artist and Top Latin Song.
  • R&B duo Silk Sonic received the inaugural Billboard Music Award for Best R&B Song. The duo is also a finalist in the Top R&B Albums and Top R&B Artists category.
  • BTS gets the best duo / band, best-selling song artist and best-selling song. With this year’s Top Duo / Group winning, they have a total of three wins in this category, a record that links them to One Direction.

Tonight there will be Becky G (“Baile Con Mi Ex”, “MAMIII”), Burna Boy (“Last Last”, “Kilometer”), Dan + Shay (“You”), Ed Sheeran (“2step”)), The King and Miranda Lambert [“Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home”)], Florence + Car (“My Love”), Lato (“Great Energy”), Maxwell (“The Woman in My Life”), Machine Gun Kelly (“Twin Flame”), Megan T. Stellion (“Piano B”, “The sweetest cake”), Morgan Wallen (“Don’t think about Jesus”, “Often for you”), Rav Alejandro (“Heal me”, “MUSEUM”, “All of you”), Silk Sonic (“Train d ‘ love “) and Travis Scott (” Mafia “). The show also pays tribute to this year’s Icon Award winner Mary J. Bliges and this year’s Billboard Music Award winner Marie Kopen.
