Now Telegram can be considered a full-fledged replacement of the departed social networks, because on the evening of June 26, the founder of the service Pavel Durov announced the launch of stories.
Durov said on his channel that initially the developers did not want to implement this feature in order not to be like everyone else, but they still started to implement it after numerous requests from users.
It is worth noting that the stories in Telegram will differ from those offered by other social networks. Thus, users will be able to choose the duration of the history (6, 12, 24 or 48 hours) without being limited to days. In addition, for each story it will be possible to set individual privacy settings, where the user can edit their audience: to whom content will be shown and from whom it will be hidden.
