In Moscow this summer, under the auspices of Afisha-Restaurants, the gastronomic festival Eat! To look! Combining cinema with gourmet cuisine, Love! The capital will have 46 projects. We tell you what you can try at institutions.
“Simach in Nedalniy” chose “Zatoichi” created by Takeshi Kitano as the theme and said, “He who sees is blind – and if you don’t look, you still won’t see.” Visitors will be able to taste Onigiri Ronin with tuna, Zatoichi Ramen with duck and Blind Passion dessert.
Strelka will introduce African culture to the guests of the festival, inspired by a documentary film about the band WITCH. The gastrobar will offer authentic exotics – chimpapila with peanut and corn tortilla, nshima with boiled veal and boiled beetroot leaves, and vitumbuwa with spinach or banana sauce.
Community Library Restaurant will show 12 films by Italian director Luchino Visconti on different days, followed by an interview with an expert. The menu includes manzo tonnato, Community Light calzone, panna cotta and caramel popcorn, as well as refreshing citrus lemonade.
Those who like “Legally Blonde” by Robert Luketic can safely go to Blondie. The menu that goes with the movie: shrimp popcorn with ginger sauce, beetroot bermonte, pink pasta with shrimp and stracciatella, anti-depressant candy with raspberries and coconut.
For connoisseurs of French cuisine, we recommend visiting the Grand Cafe Le Chait Noir on Tverskoy Boulevard. There they will beat Claude Zidi’s comedy “A wing or a leg”. The institution prepared foie gras tartlets, farm salad, cordon bleu wings and royal truffle puff pastry for its visitors.
